Where to stay in Sangkhla Buri
Sangkhla Buri hotels & accommodations
Everything here was excellent when we were here for 2 days. We do enjoyed everything providing by hotel and staffs. Sure, we will come back again :)
We throughly enjoyed our stay and only ventured out to buy food and see the beautiful sights that Sangkhla Buri has to offer. We will stay there again and again, I am certain.
This is a brand new hotel, well-designed and with an enthusiastic management. It’s probably the best place to stay at the moment in Sangkhlaburi. It’s not in an interesting or pretty location, but they’re doing their best to improve the large grounds, and once the trees and shrubs have grown a bit more (it doesn’t take long in Thailand) it will feel more welcoming. The...
This hotel was difficult to find. Address listed in Agoda is cut off, and TA's location is miles away. Outside there is a Thai scrip sign only. The way I found it was to copy the Thai script hotel name from Agoda and paste it into the search bar for Maps. Booked a standard double room, clean and cute little room with TV (Thai shopping channel), large stiff bed, bedside...
Very good choice to take a rest. It's quite clean with beautiful decoration. Good location with parking and friendly staff.
I only stayed here for a night, but it was a great stay. The location is very convenient, it's like a 2 minute walk to the bridge. The options for breakfast are fairly limited, but it was good. The staff there were very friendly. Specifically, the owner (I think) is such a kind person and takes the time to chat with you a bit while checking in or if he sees you around ...
you are looking to get away from the hectic and to relax in a nice, quiet and huge resort, you can not miss this. this very nice resort is huge and has all what you are looking for to relax in the middle of natures gifts in great style. very nice and clean rooms (bungalows) at the lake side with all the comfort you can possibly get in the middle of nowhere. you can go...
Very spacious room. Clean, good outdoor environment. But poor location.
A two second walk from the bus stop and we were at Oh Dee, the dorm beds where a lot bigger than a normal single with big comfy mattresses, decent pillows and duvet. Your own bed side light, plug and locker with key provided (no need for your own lock). The main attractions in this tiny town are the market and the bridge both of which are a short walk away. The hoste...
If you are looking for some natural or chilled experience, it is definitely a great place to stay. Whether tents or rooms, you got a great view of the lake at your door way. The sunset and sunrise are just in front of you. You can also spend some time jumping into the lake. The water is warm enough till evening. Bring some alcohol and tobacco, it’ll be a peaceful night...
Very well located in Sangkhlaburi, you can reach the wooden Mon Bridge in 15min. The staffs were friendly and kind to pick me up at the bus station. The hotel is very clean and well decorated, feeling like a second home. I recommend this place for every type of travelers, solo, couple or family.
We had a little bungalow in the back, which was cosy and clean. The air con was good and the bed was comfy. The biggest downside is that the bungalow seems to be surrounded by chickens, who woke us up at various points in the night. There is also no WiFi in the room but there may be in the rooms in the main building. The guesthouse has a good location as it is between...
This resort located so quit areas, even it not neaby the river, but u can walk to bridge just 10 mins. I recommended the garden in back of resort, pick a cup of coffee and some breakfasts, seating under the sunshine and feeling the breeze. The owner is so nice person, she took me to the station on her motorcycle, that's sweet to me, especially for solo traveler like m...
Great location about 400m to Mon Bridge. The owner lady is very friendly and helpful. She provide us information on places of interest and even help us to get minivan tickets and send us to station on departure day to Kanchanaburi. For the price we paid there should be no complaint on the room except the intermittent sound from the air-con.
Had to pay $60 per night as hotels were full. Very difficult to find. Only hotel I've ever visited that did not check my passport. Bright note, I had a flat Manchester helped me change. I have them 1,000 bht as tip
Very friendly hosts who speak very good English. Mon host Fa provides an authentic experience of life in Sangkhlaburi. Breakfast consists of varied traditional Mon food and tea and coffee is freely available. Accommodation is basic but the friendliness is unsurpassed. I was made to feel like one of the family. Booked for two nights and ended up staying much longer....
The peace is quite new.m and not too far away from the bridge. One room can stay 4 people, one queen bed and extra bed in the room. Good value for family for group.
Pros- good location, nice view from the balcony, owner is so helpful and friendly, very convenient to wake up and see row of monks in the morning, adequate parking lot. Cons - No noise insulation between rooms, Hot shower was out of order in my room.
This hotel was absolutely idyllic. I wanted to show my parents the different contrats of Thailand and they wanted to go places I hadn't been either (I have been living in Thailand for 2 years). We were a bit worried we would have to cancel the trip when my mum broke her arm but continued anyway. So glad we did. This place is like nothing I've ever seen before and th...

There is a good place to take a rest after you travel around those area. It is still new with nice decoration. There are several restaurants around there including night market.

Just a place to sleep before you go to your destination. Dont expect much from it.

It was a bit difficult to find from the busstop as it is situated at the end of the village. Because of that it is nice and quiet. The room was spacious, with balcony and had a beautiful view on the lake. Nice bathroom and the wifi in het room was ok.
