First of all, we did not book this accommodation to enjoy amenities or relax, but with the intention of actively exploring outside and just sleeping. Please understand that I did not have high expectations when making the reservation. I want to keep this place to myself, but I will honestly share my review. Pros: 1. The washing machine, microwave, and cooking facilities were well-equipped, allowing me to wash and dry my clothes right away. I was also satisfied with the cooking facilities. 2. Before my trip, I requested local delivery in Japan, and they received and stored it for me. Thanks to that, I was able to collect it in accordance with my travel schedule. I appreciate the hotel-like service. 3. The air conditioning worked well, and they provided ample towels. 4. The staff were very friendly. I left my luggage in the morning and went sightseeing in Fukuoka, and when I arrived about 15 minutes early for the 14:45 check-in, fortunately, the room was ready, and they guided me right away. (Otherwise, I would have had to wait if the room wasn't ready.) 5. The location is fantastic. It's easy to go to Tenjin, Hakata, and Canal City is a 10-minute walk from Nakasu. Additionally, there's a local supermarket for late-night snacks just 3 minutes away, and AEON MAX VALUE is 5 minutes away. Because of that, it was easy to get things like bento sushi and beer. (AEON MAX VALUE has many items with a 20% discount after 19:00, so they run out quickly; I recommend going between 19:00 and 20:00.) Cons: 1. Service hours are fixed. The front desk operates from 9:30 to 17:30, and I am not sure about the hours outside of that. 2. After 10 PM, it is best to avoid making loud noises or watching TV in the room. It would be considerate for everyone to practice good etiquette. 3. The surroundings can be noisy at night due to many pubs nearby. (We walked around all day, enjoyed a refreshing draft beer in the evening, bought seafood donburi sushi and gyoza beer from Max Value to keep at the accommodation, went to an izakaya to hang out, and returned to the place to eat quietly to finish up. Noise can be subdued by tiredness and intoxication 🙂) 4. The bed is too soft. (Waterbed... I prefer a firm mattress, but I managed to get through the fatigue and intoxication.) * Overall: Despite the cons, it can be covered by the overwhelming cost-performance and advantages. I was very satisfied. I'm grateful for the pleasant stay!!
Here are the good and bad points summarized. - The location is great as there are supermarkets, restaurants, convenience stores, and Nakasu street stalls around the hotel! - It's convenient for a few days stay since you can do laundry (with fabric softener, detergent, small clothespins, and hangers provided). - There is a desk, chair, and balcony to relax (although it is smaller than expected). - Luggage can be stored before check-in from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and there is staff at the front desk. - It was great to have a bathtub, but when the water was drained, water overflowed from the drain in the area to wash the body, which was a hassle. - While there are restaurants nearby, there is a restaurant right next door where you can drink outside, so you can hear people until late at night. - At around 6:00 AM, crows gather around the garbage put out by the restaurants, making a terrible noise that wakes you up. - It was incredibly convenient as it’s about a 15-minute walk to Tenjin, Nakasu, and the port. - The nearest station is close (about a 10-minute walk). That's all. However, for my husband and me, who love to drink and are morning people, this accommodation was perfect. We enjoyed exploring Hakata mostly on foot and occasionally by bike.
The staff were kind and explained everything well using a translator. The hygiene is generally clean. There are many bars and eateries nearby, and there is also a 24-hour supermarket next door, which means it's noisy. Haha. In the early morning, there are loud car and people noises. The windows are single-pane, so they don't block sound, and you can hear conversations from the neighboring rooms. Hehe. Also, the crows wake you up in the morning. Haha. The bed is so soft that it might be uncomfortable; I actually prefer a firm bed. The bathroom amenities are good. I stayed for three nights, and we received two large towels and two small towels per person. The price is in the 90,000 won range, not bad. However, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. Hehe.
It was styled as a Japanese studio apartment, which felt refreshing. It really felt like living here, and I went with a friend, so the space was sufficient! It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but for this price, it was fine. They don’t clean during long stays, and for recycling and trash, you have to take it out to the hallway yourself, but since we didn’t mess things up or have that kind of style, it wasn't too inconvenient.

“Best value for money.”
It reminds me of my memories because the layout of the house is very similar to when I lived in Japan before. I liked that the space was separated and that the floor was wooden. It was just right for sleeping with my fifth-grade daughter and my husband. The room was spacious enough to open up a suitcase, which was nice. Having a kitchen made it convenient to prepare simple meals. There are four large towels and four small towels, but they need to be washed before use, just a heads up. The location is convenient because it’s on a main road, making it easy to find and call for a taxi. There are many supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and the staff is always present, so I could leave my luggage in advance. I think I will definitely use this place again next time. It was really comfortable to walk around everywhere.
