Pak Chong hotels & places to stay

This hotel is very nice! I love their room as it is very bright and clean! Breakfast is scrumptious!! Especially I like to have the breakfast at their garden! Very great feel! The hotel quite near to Pak Chong night market (it is not walking distance, but by car, since you going no Khao Ai is by renting car or with the tour guide). There is family mart just locate across the road to the hotel! Yet, a delicious Wan Tan me stall just next to the hotel too! Highly recommend to travelers who going to have a stay in Pak Chong area!

We chose happy cruise type as we are a family of four and we like the design of cruise ship. Our kids love it so much as it was lovely to them. The room and bathroom were clean and nice. Beds were comfy and big. The host was so thoughtful and kind that he specially cooked dinner for us as our kids were hungry even after meal at Pak Chong night market, besides gave us cakes and orange juice. Really appreciated that and a very big thank you to the host. We had our souvenirs from the caring host when we checked out the next day. Truly happy and grateful that we have a memorable stayed at Sweet Light House Home Stay. Wish you all the best and keep up the good work.

This is my first time to Pak Chong so I was being very careful when I decided where to say. Glad I made a right decision. The One House Resort Pak Chong is exactly the kind of hotel that I would stay more than once. It's clean, located in a very good location (you can walk a bit and find good food. the famous Pak Chong Market is also in a walking distance area). Staying at Pak Chong might be a good choice to stay if you want to explore Khao Yai. Oh and bfast was good enough, this hotel is totally worth the price, the staff are also nice. Their English isnt very good, but they were helpful enough.

Living in Bangkok we travel a lot to Pak Chong area and have stayed in many hotels in this location (also Wang Nam Khiao and Khao Yai)over the years but this hotel is the best. What a find! The breakfast with juices, egg pies bread, etc, all made the same morning, was superb. The dinner of fresh Thai food the night before was also very delicious and we are 'picky'. The manager is so attentive and nothing is too much trouble for her and her staff. Hotel design is simple but just right for the area. We didn't want to leave and just stay there and be quiet for a few more days. Very, very near to a special temple and a British monk who gives talks in Thai on the first and third Sundays every month plus some meditation. For overseas visitors transport can be arranged from anywhere in Thailand to bring you to the hotel at a reasonable cost. Local transport too for local sightseeing. Go and stay!!!!

A very satisfying stay. The resort is located 16 minutes car drive from pak chong night market. It is welly decorated and nature surrounded. The resort is very clean. Friendly owner and staff. My family and i enjoy our breakfast very much and it was provided differently every morning . Owner either bought the breakfast from local recommended shop or cook themselves. Eldery might caution as there are stairs to be climb. Family room can sleep 6-8 audults but only 1 bathroom at the lower floor. Overall a great value resort and highly recommended.

The best way to explore to Khao Yai is own drive. We rent a car from airport and drive to Khao Yai for 3 days trip. Hello Sunny Home located in the middle of Pak Chong and easy to get to all tourist spots such as PB Valley, National Park, Palio etc., within half an hour in drive. The room is very clean and with beautiful and nice design. The breakfast prepared by the owner very delicious, can choose either Thai style or American style breakfast. Relax and enjoy to stay here, all of our group members also love Hello Sunny Home so much. Such a good experience!!!

I arrived there and after not very long moment I felt like this is a house, rather than a hotel. Staffs are so incredibly friendly! Or I should say they thought that I 'm part of their family better( like a cousin or something.) They have the telephone line that open 24 hours if I need any thing. The room is so new and very clean. It's really worth the money! The place not very far from famous attractions, such as KhaoKan, Ban Mai Chai Nam, Pak-Chong Night Bazarr! If I have to go back, I'll stay this place for sure!!

This is a small resort but it is extremely peaceful. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Ms Fon is the person in charge and she can speak and understand English quite well. I made a booking on Agoda for a mountain view room which includes a king size bed AND 2 single beds. When I reached there, the room only has 1 king size bed. I show Ms Fon the image of the booking for the room and she commented that they only received the booking that did not show the additional 2 single beds. But she made up for it by arranging for a pull away bed to be sent to our rooms. No hassle and no nonsense. Excellent service, Ms Fon. The surrounding is well maintained. Everything still looks new and it looks like they have put in effort to upkeep this place. There is a small public pool which we did not have the time to enjoy but it looks really clean!Checking-in and out is also a breeze. Very personalized area for checking in and very relaxing. Love this place! Kudos to the staff!

Very nice rooms for the price, Staff is friendly and helpfull. Location is a bit far out of town so you do need a car. Taxi's are not available at Pak Chong. On the downside; Large groops of students use this resort as a base for visisting Khao Yai too, which means that it can be very loud in the early morning. 3-4 Big Busses will play loud music every morning at 06:00 to wake-up the youngsters for their breakfast. Staff is very helpfull, and do try to make their best of your holiday, though communication in English is close to nothing.

Stayed here for two nights. Really liked the modern small houses / chalets. Food was good but the bar lacked choice, i.e. no spirits. Beautiful surrounding countryside and a short 5 minute drive in to Pak Chong. It was not too hot while we stayed but a swimming pool would be a welcome addition for guests who like a swim or for those you would want to cool down in the very hot months.

Our main purpose during our visit to Pak Chong was to trek through Khao Yai National Park. It was our first time traveling and we learned a few things. Pak Chong does NOT offer much in terms of transportation. After being dropped at the bus station, we paid a random local man 200 THB to drive us 5 kilometers to our hotel, Relax At Home Boutique Hotel. If you do not have a vehicle of your own, the location is not too convenient. However, once you check in you are right next door to a nice restaurant with live music and also many shopping areas. It is a budget hotel, so there are not facilities - but the hotel is kept very clean and the lady at the desk does NOT speak any English AT ALL, but is so, very kind. We liked her a lot. She had breakfast prepared for us in the morning, a simple 1-pan eggs and it was tasty. Overall a great deal! If you don't have a vehicle, I recommend hiring a tour service to pick you up and drop you off. It makes it MUCH easier. We used "Bobby's Jungle Tours"

I'm not quite sure the hotel were expecting us, so our rooms weren't ready but they upgraded us if we were ok to wait 1/2 hr, which we done by the poolside bar. We rented two rooms, twin and double, our double was massive, clean and very comfortable and the view of the sunset out our window at night was amazing! The twin room was smaller but more than ample. Great showers and lovely bathroom. I don't think this hotel is used to westerns but that added to the feel of the holiday, however the manager speaks very good manager and could not have been helpful enough, lovely man. Lovely, deep and refreshing pool but has no loungers?? I'm sure if we asked we would have got them but we didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel so didn't really use the pool apart from a quick swim. Hotel seems to be a very local place, used a lot by the local emergency services for training, there was a local football team staying there and training while we were there, all was good but a very, very quiet place/hotel but all our party loved it

I started my trip from Bangkok (Mo Chit minivan station) to Pak Chong. It took around 3 hours to get to Pak Chong. Hotel review: 1. Location: The hotel is just exactly infront of Pak Chong bus station where my minivan arrived. Just across the street n keep looking a while, the hotel was found. The building is clean and okay. The Pak Chong night bazaar is next to the Pak Chong bus station (across the street from Pak Chong hotel) where sells foods and fashion products. Near the bus station, there was a corner which has sign "TAXI". It is not like a taxi actually but the private car that can be rented. I rented a car for 1000B for half day n 2000B for full day travelling to Khao Yai (to the bloom, PB valley, panorama farm, palio, primo piaza, Jim Thompson, n chocolate factory, n also birder lodge). Those places in Khaoyai were amaziiiing. 2. Room: the room is decent but very spacious, clean, n bright. The bed n pillow are okay. The bathroom is clean, hot water was great. The toiletries provided only big towel n 2 tiny bar soap. U need to bring your own liquid soap, shampoo, n conditioner. 3. Breakfast: breakfast had 2 options: american omelet or thai style omelet. I choose Thai style n it was great. 4. Staff: speaks limited english but friendly.

The hotel was a little hard to find as the sing outside says: The Old Dragon and we weren't sure we were at the right adres. But the hotel staff was really friendly and we could check-in early (without additional costs). Hotel is not in the city of Pak Chong but on route to Khao Yai national park. The hotel helped us book a tour we found in the lonelyplanet. The hotel restaurant chicken curry was the hottest curry we tasted in the whole of thailand. Lots of local dining at the hotel restaurant :) would reccomend this hotel!

Some parts of the hotel are renovated, kitchen and dining area are located outside (which are huge) and has beautiful view, has swimming pool and massage chair (free), spacious and clean hotel room, located just beside main road so it's easy to find, approx 800m from Pak Chong night market (walking takes 10min), 4 star for facilities because of the small lift (max. capacity of 5 persons) and no hair dryer. Overall we are very satisfied with the stay.

We arrived at the bus station at 11pm and P Neung picked us up from the bus station and welcomed us with kindness and hospitality. We stayed in the triple room and it was spacious and clean. Breakfast all 3 mornings was delicious and the staff cooked us what ever we requested. P Neung arranged a private tour of Pak Chong (GranMonte, PB Valley), Toscana Village, sunflower gardens where he personally took us around all day and booked us a day trip around Khao Yai National Park. I will definitely come back and stay at Triple P. Great place!!

Want to feel at home when you are abroad? This is the place!! Besides the water pressure is low during shower and small insects around (well, country style of living), everything is just great! Owner is extremely friendly and helpful. Need not to go elsewhere for photos, be it the "home" that you are staying or the other houses around; A Houses Homestay is already an excellent place for pictures! Nicely decorated with lots of ideas and passion! Khrop Khun Mah Khrup!
