"This place is absolutely paradise. We stayed for 1 week and got the rest and relaxation that we had hoped for. it starts the moment you step foot into the property as you are greeted by the most lovely manager, Lilian. She went above and beyond all of our requests. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is absolutely delicious and well priced. The cocktails are amazing! The pool yet small is so clean and refreshing. We did a 4 island tour which was all arranged by Lilian it was a fantastic day trip. She also hosted a couple bbq on the beach that was so tasty. I recommend this resort to someone looking to escape busy life and just wants a relaxing time. I will most definitely be back! thanks so much Lilian and all your staff for such an amazing experience ❤❤❤❤"

"Easy booking trough agoda. Paid €60 per night for the suite. Stay was relaxed but overpriced. Seaview suites dont have seaviews and the staff doesn not speak english. They say yes to everything but dont know what you asked. The beach of had yao is dirty so you need to stay at your resort. Thisgoes for the whole stretch of 7 km of beach. When we arrived we found out that the place just opened 2 weeks before. Loud noise during the day due to the constructions. 6 poolbed for 13 rooms, not good. This might all be better at the end of 2014. Very small menu in the restaurant, you can not eat somewhere else, everything is to far away."

"This place is a little off the beaten path and, after a week near Ao Nang beach, was very welcomed. For whatever reason, we were upgraded to their largest room immediately upon arrival. The room was beautiful and stylish. We loved our three nights here. We met other great travelers and spent evenings talking and watching lightening storms. We had a driver free of charge to take us to nearby places. Be aware that this is in Had Yao Beach and very secluded. This is a hotel for peace and quiet and should be avoided if travelers are looking for a night life. "

"stayed here for two nights after a busy trip to railay area. didnt expect it to be this quiet, but we realised we werent even talkin loudly while havin our meals cos you dont really have to! ours was the starfish room, huge and comfy n clean n a bathtub right in the room itself! tip, bring some mozzy spray as they are quite abundant, but only if you were at the eating area. also, the menu pricing is average, not too high n not cheap either. but its worth it as it really is very good and reminds you of homecooked meals. special mention to "mat", who checked us in, brought us ice whenever we asked for it, took us from our room to our seat at dinner and breakfast, arranged the bike rental and even charged us half price since we got back early from riding around, and overall very friendly guy whom you can definitely find out more about had yao from. "On knowing that we were staying at The Beach, our taxi driver discouraged us and kept telling us all the way how it was really not the right choice. When we first saw the resort, we weren't truly impressed. It isn't much to look at and the villas look shabby from outside. HOWEVER, the rooms are actually really nice and big, and we specially loved the tiny room with the bath tub in it. The place grows on you, and if it is quiet you are looking for, this is the right place for you. The resort arranges free trips on each day, except for Tuesday, to different locations in Krabi. We'd booked a tour to Ao Nang beach on phone before we reached, and it was actully the tour there that made us appreciate the serene surroundings of Had Yao. Ao Nang is definitely the "happening" place, but it was Had Yao that stole our hearts. What the resort lacks in variety when it comes to breakfast, they more than make up for in lunch. We were indeed spoilt for choice as each dish was cooked to perfection. Even though we had read about the staff being unfriendly, we found it quite contrary to what we witnessed. This is comfort stay, boiled down to the basics. Take a long walk on the deserted beach, laze around without being disturbed by anyone, gorge on heavenly Thai food, watch movies in the comfort of your room, and wake up to cooing birds and splashing waves. Forget the humdrum, don't think too much, and come back refreshed. "
