If someone likes privacy and tranquility, this is the answer. It is quite private, very quiet, and close to the beach; just a short walk away. Importantly, the beach is not crowded. The rooms are quite lovely, in the style of the hotel. However, at night, it can be a bit scary because there are no security guards at all, just an elderly man watching over. When I checked in, it was very late in the evening, and I only found a sign telling me to call for check-in. The entrance from the alley to the hotel is very difficult to see and quite narrow, but the hotel itself is okay and rather nice. It could use a bit of renovation to look newer. In the morning, I walked to the beach, which was heavenly because the atmosphere there is really great. There aren't many people, and monks also walk by for alms. The water is very clean. When I got back to the hotel, I was a bit shocked to find there was only one staff member in the hotel. Oh, how can it be possible for one person to do everything? Just taking care of our single house can be overwhelming; here, one person is looking after the entire hotel. They manage everything: greeting guests, preparing breakfast, cleaning the whole building, and cleaning every room when guests check out. It’s no surprise that cleanliness at the reception area doesn't reach expectations because there’s no time to do everything. But the staff member was very lovely, smiling, and took care of things very well. When I visited, there were only three rooms because it was just before Songkran. The bathroom had a bit of a musty smell. As for the rooftop swimming pool, it really isn't necessary, as you can't swim in it. The pool itself is not very enticing, but the atmosphere and view are great. There are many good and impressive points around. If I get a chance, I would stop by again because it’s very private.
