I have always look forward to stay in Shangrila Mactan as it is one of the most beautiful hotel because of two reasons 1) The marine park is one of the best that i have visited and you need not go far to see coral fishes - parrot fish, pike fish, clown fish, mullet, angel fish, squid and schools of fish as though you are diving. 2) The Filipino service level agai...

Deluxe double sea facing room was clean and airy with a functional though small bath. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I had in my time in the Phillipines, beautiful. Prices on the high side for Cebu, £6 for a mango smoothie but it was delicious. As in other parts of Cebu, service very polite and pleasant but also very slow, 35 minutes for a drink and sala...

Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino is by far one of the best hotels in Cebu, and perhaps even in the Philippines. The rooms are quite spacious and classy. It is fully carpeted and the bed is huge and very comfortable. But the best asset of the hotel is the entertainment readily available to the hotel guests. To top it all, the hotel houses one of the best casino...

i originally planned on staying at the quest hotel for a week, but ended up staying a month. value for money when i was here in may-june 2012 the value for money was incredible. i paid around us per night without breakfast. by comparison, the cebu marriott, was running around us per night – a little over twice the price, and i imagine no better quality. i look...

Stayed for the last two days of our vacation just to chill and do nothing. Beach front room, very very clean, huge bathroom which is very a bliss after staying in 3 stars hotels for days, shower hot enough unlike other hotels in Cebu WiFi working in most places of the resort. Beach was very nice, big enough. Pool seems a bit small though but we stayed on beach area ...

The Bai Hotel Cebu was an amazing stay. The service, food, room, amenities, and everything about the Bai Hotel was outstanding. Words can't describe the experience during my stay. In the past I stayed at the Marriott at Ayala Mall but if I knew then what I know now I would have stayed at the Bai Hotel. The service by the staff was amazing, room and housekeeping the be...

Best hotel I got for the money of the 5 I stayed in the Philippines this trip. Nicest rooms and balcony, I had just flown in from the Hilton Waikoloa and that is my favorite all time hotel if you don’t mind being nickel and dimed after you pay through the nose. The rooms and balcony and service at the Nordtropic were better. If the Cebu Mactan area was better I wou...

My mom and I went to Cebu last October 2017. My mom is a senior citizen, that’s why I made sure that our vacation would be fun, hassle free and relaxing. Thanks to Agoda and Cebu Diamond Suites and Residences we really had a great time staying in the hotel. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool and the breakfast buffet. The location is superb! It is near the ayala center ma...

Stayed here for one night upon arrival in Cebu. Hotel offered free shuttle pick-up from the airport which was why we had chosen to stay. There is a convenience store right next door which was helpful for those travelers who come in and want to take a rest right away and not have to go out again. Restaurant had nice Filipino dishes at competitive prices for an eat-in di...

I have stayed at Cebu Parklane several times now. I have also stayed in The Waterfront Lahug and other Cebu hotels such as Century Park Plaza. However, the Parklane remains my favourite as it gets the balance right between value for money and comfort. The hotel is friendly. The restaurant is very good. The included buffet breakfast is excellent with wide variety o...

absolute one of the best (if not THE best) resort we have stayed here in cebu. we stayed in the garden pool villa. big garden, private (small) swimming pool, fenced. the only disadvantage is the distance to cebu city and for international travelers the distance to the airport. we live in metro cebu, so for us it is just a drive by our own car. tourist will be picked up...

Having booker may rooms around Asia that don’t meet their descriptions or photos I was very happy with pillows, if you booking online it’s better to pay for breakfast as is only £1.50 more for 2 people it’s £3 per person in the hotel, the staff here are very helpful if you have a problem the bed is the best hotel I’ve ever had and you could sleep 4 people in it easily,...

This resort is not what an American traveler will expect upon arrival, the greeting staff do not confirm and lead you to your room right away, you are detained while official staff negotiate your reservation (!) before you can go to your room and relax after a very long flight to Cebu from the U.S. This aspect of the trip was very disappointing to us when we arrived. I...

I have been coming here to the 'Montebello Villa' Hotel for eight years. I come once or twice a year and always stay here. There are other hotels in Cebu in the same price range, but this is the best value for your money. They have been remodeling the hotel bit by bit, and the improvements are outstanding. The hotel is located in Banilad - Apas area, across the bou...

I have stayed at most of the 3-4 star hotels in Cebu over the last 7 years and this hotel is really outstanding. The rooms are large and well-furnished, housekeeping punctual and good, reception/concierge very helpful, reataurant great. All in all a very pleasant experience. Special mention for the exceptionally pleasant staff who all helped to create the great am...

It was good to stay in the appleton hotel. I was there for a day while going back to Korea from Bohol. It was another good experiece in Philippines.. The SM hyper market is just across from the hotel and there are a lot of stores to shop and eat. I believe it is much safer than any other place in Cebu and not far from the airport. The employs are kind and breakfast was...

I decided to book upon arrival in the Philippines for 3 nights at the Eloisa as I had some personal details to handle in Cebu and Lapu-Lapu. I was expecting to have to deal with the hustle and bustle of a big city... and I did! But it was so great to come back to the Eloisa to really relax. There are 3 buildings that house rooms. Building #1 is located on the main st...

I have stayed in many hotels in Cebu, and will more than likely stay here or in Cebu Grand Hotel also booked through Agoda when u look at value, quality, and cost. Yes there are many other good hotels, but not for the price. CLOSE to EVERYTHING! Connected to mall which has groceries and great prices on top floor! Located on the main square / round about so you have man...

Regarding the Five Star Radisson Blu Hotel in Cebu on a scale of 1 to 5 we rated it at 10! We just had our 12th beautiful experience at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cebu, Philippines. The staff once again are considerate beyond belief, friendly and helpful making our experience very enjoyable. The food is great, the room service from Aaron and housekeeping from Jenny...

For 20 years I have stayed 50+ nights a year in hotels in various parts of the world; mostly Europe and North and South America. I had used 4 or 5 star beach resorts on Mactan Island on 3 prior visits to Cebu. They were good hotels but had no soul. The staff were robotic - by rote answers to questions and, if something unusual was asked, the human equivalent of a compu...

Amazing 2 Days And Two Nights Made Up My Best Ever travel experience ever. Amazing view with a great clean infinity pool along with a very clear ocean water makes this hotel the ideal place. For the scuba diver enthusiasts the hotel has a training place as, well as motorcycles to rent for the day trips to this gorgeous island locations. Hotel also has a free pick up a...
Cheap places to stay in Cebu

Guys weren’t ready for my arrival even though I arrived late night. Hostels surrounding is full of rubbish. Upgraded my room though for a private and room was clean. No toilet paper or towel provided. Also no information on arrival. Not sure whether WiFi available there. Bathroom was not very clean. Had an issue in the morning and staff wasn’t really helpful. Other gue...

I didn’t even know how to install the sim card bought in cebu into the iphone and the staff there helped me perfectly and also set it up the best service 3g! During the time there, the staff also gave me best suggestions of movements, price in everywhere i was, from long distance! ♥️♥️♥️ in my opinion, you should consider this place as the middle place for other trips...

This hostel is ideal for travelers or people that want to spend a few days in Cebu. The place has facilities, it is extremely clean and the staff is sublime. Interior design is also very nice and unique. Hope to visit again that place in one of my next trips.

Resort Cebu is away from busy traffic and pollution of Cebu City. It is a very quiet place with a laid back atmosphere with an awesome inground pool. Two friendly dogs and a very friendly cat adds to the feel at home type of place. There is always regulars that come to happy hour and enjoy cold drinks and share there stories. Steve from America is an awesome person to ...

We spent 4 nights at Villa Sandra and really liked the place. Delicious food hard to find while travelling the Philippines. Reasonable prices as well. Great live music each night from 7pm to 10pm. Quiet after 10pm but a bit noisy before, it didn’t bother us. Highly recommend

My friend had booked the Thresher cove dive resort as a backup in case we ran out of things to do in Cebu. Thank God she had because we had the best three days in malapascua and I owe it to the staff at Threshers cove dive resort. We lived in the backpackers dorm C and while the room itself wasn't special, it had all the basic amenities you'd need. What sold this reso...

+ I enjoyed whaleshark only 1200Php entrance fee , the Island View stuff drive us there and prepare everything without extra charge. - Shower is Island style,I mean not so hot , but remember , the price is very cheap! I recommend here! you can save money . From south bus terminal,150Php with AC bus. you can get off in front of hotel that tell bus stuff .

If you are traveling on a tight budget this place is the best. I stayed in this hostel for 2 weeks while taking a Korean Language Training in Nala Cebu. The place is clean, affordable, and safe. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They keep our room clean. It is located a few steps from St. Therese Church. It's a 5 to 8 minutes walk to JY Mall. This hostel is located...

I had room nr 7 (queen bed , air conditioning and private bathroom pros : basically new place, everything working great water pressure and heater great large , clean room and bathroom very nice owner and staff scooter rental , snorkeling rental water and some drinks on site to buy quiet air conditioning good lighting big , good breakfast great WiFi close to bea...

I had an incredibly memorable stay here on Malapascua while solo travelling. The girls here managed to get all the guests to become friends straight away, by inviting us to the beach on the north side of the island- and then later on we played drinking jenga (hilarious, you have to try it) with jugs of rum and coke and went out together and kept exploring the island to...

I would recommend this place and will book again. Sulit ung bayad mo since i book this place for 250+php per night in private capsule bed. Malamig, hot and cold shower, neat bed and with toiletries. Wag ka lang maxado mg.expect at wag maxadong demanding sa place kasi nga sharing, dormitory type may mga taong burara at maingay (so wag burara at maingay). Magdala na lng ...

The mom of the owner was very accommodating. Cebu branch was awesome. It's just that, the one in Oslob called ''Sharky's'' was too basic. Metal roof, and concrete floor. They arranged our trip to Canyoneering and was disappointed because she didn't explain that canyoneering has half day and full day. Paid full day for the price of half day and when confronted, she argu...

We booked for 4 nights here with 5 dives included. Be advised that *after* the diving, they ask you to pay for equipment and the reef fee, which they say is not included in the price if you get a dive package. That made no sense to us, and told them we paid for the dives and it said nothing about paying extra. They accepted that, but be warned. The hotel has a main si...

I had a wonderful and safe stay. The delux room made me feel like I was just in my own room. Everything is there kitchen utensils, stove etc. And the fixture is good for working guest. Overall, G and B Hostel is a great place to stay. A value for your money hotel.

The best thing of this inn is the staff. There are two lovely girls who manage everything. They are nice, funny, and always eager to help you to get the best for your staying. The inn is located quite far from the city center, up on the hill, but that's a plus for me. You have a great view from there and it's in a very quiet zone, far from the noise of the city. Perfec...

The best night ever in my Philippines tour for last 2 weeks. If you love natures, this definitely is your-must-stay in Oslob area. Although No More treehouses or rooms available, but I have to say that no regret at all to decide booking and staying the only TENT available here for my night. Make sure u book the queen bed for the tent. Don't worry, you won't feel any ho...

If waiting for your flight or arriving at Cebu early in the morning (before you have your tours) this is one nice and quite place to take a quick rest and freshen up. Shared bathroom and toilet (some being renovated) though for a lot of room occupants. Otherwise easy accessibility and nice for travellers on a budget.

Five thumbs up to this establishment, anyone who want to visit Cebu this is the best place to stay: value for money, very near to almost everything( food, recreation, work, shopping mall and etc....). Moreover, the staffs they are the best. Keep up the good work. Thank you guys, you make my stay in Cebu a memorable one. Safe haven indeed.

It was quite convenient place, easy to reach anywhere in Cebu city. Staff are very kind and good security system. if you are a solo traveler, this place is the best choice especially for female. However, they don't have refrigerator... It's a weak point of this accommodation.

whenever i go to cebu for work, i always come across this hostel and i can't help but be interested with their "99 pesos per day" rate. so when i decided to go on a solo trip, this is one of my main option. my main purpose for the solo trip was to test my survival capabilities using limited resources. so my goals were to have reasonably cheap comfy accommodation, ta...

Cebu Budget Hotel lives up to its name. It's very affordable and suits different kinds of travelers. I especially appreciate the staff who were very accomodating of our needs. Dominic in particular, the front desk receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Not only will he tell you where to go but how to go there as well. He would give you some warnings as well in tak...

this is the most clean and cheap guest house in cebu city. location is near IT park, jy mall, but 10 mins by walk by main road which is pro, also, and cons of this place. you can feel local, but someone may feel bit scared if you are not really familiar with ph. Reception is really kind and accommodating. Room is small, but good airconditioned. overall, best value hot...

This is a trap! We booked last week on this hotel few hours before we arrive in cebu. When we got there around 10pm the employee at the lobby told us that they will transfer us to their other branch since there's no more room available at Transit point. By the way we are 13 all in all including 8 children. They booked a grab & transfer us to Stop Over Apartel, much to...

The hostel is perfect for people having a short layover in Cebu. It's really close to the airport - you can even walk the distance if you're short on cash. Also, I have to give a shoutout to the staff, they are super nice and really helpful with everything you need, and they also know to recommend the best food places and services nearby if you need any. Only small min...

I usually don't give reviews but this hotel is an exception! I've stayed in 4 different hotels in Cebu city and Mandaue during our 10days trip, and this by far is the best! It exceeds all my expectations, from the receiving guards at the lobby, the security (they have a K9 dog at the lobby), the receptionists, the cleanliness and lighting of the room, the free minibar,...

Delightful Experience. Planned four day rendezvous with my fiancee. Most hotels in Cebu were full due to Sinulog Festival. Read mixed reviews for Cordova Reef and made reservations with an Open Mind. We had an absolutely wonderful time. Positives: 1, The Pool, Beach and Facilities were clean and everything worked. 2. The food was well prepared, tasty and rea...

Probably the best hotel in Cebu mainly because guests are treated as royalty, very professional and polite staff, always trying their best to help, I was always allowed late check out and early check in without extra cost. great recreation facilities (gym pool n spa). Location is slightly away from the city madness which is great, taxi easily available, only 10 mins an...

Cebu has 2 major islands - Mactan and the City. If you love beaches then mactan is for you. The City offers the malls (SM and Ayala) and the business districts. Cebu is known for great scuba diving so i'd stay on the mactan side. Love BE Hotel. Its mostly white. rest rooms are very clean and place is well maintained. The place is also accessible to the airport. If...

The place was amazing, a true resort with high standards and cleanliness. The location was the only downside as we spent quite a fair bit of time and money travelling to and fro the city centre in cebu. It is definitely a perfect place for a weekend getaway. The beach was under renovation while I was there but the views were great.

It was our first time to travel in Cebu & we just got the hotel via internet search. The location is just best so you are in the middle of Cebu City & Lapu-lapu City which is both accessible of any means of transport and it is very cheap. If we have a chance to go back to Cebu we would stay here again. We would like to acknowledge also the service of the restaurant sta...

alpha suites has to be one of the best value for money hotels in cebu! clean , friendly , modern hotel , ideally located near cebu city centre with a very inexpensive taxi ride to ayala and sm malls. very well presented suites with excellent views of the local area. high speed elevator's. so no waiting around! guards to assist with getting you transport while you just ...

Pros: 1. Very friendly and professional staff 2. Reasonably priced meals, a tuna steak or grill squids as main course is about USD6-8 per meal 3. Great corals around the hotel for snokerling and kayaking. I even saw a wild sea turtle by snokerling around the hotel beach 4. 90min drive to Oslob to watch whale sharks 5. 30min drive to Kawasan Falls to see the waterfalls ...

We travelled with our three boys (7, 5, 3) and stayed for one night and two days only. Our superior room was equipped with a big double and a single bed and still had enough space to feel comfy. The bathroom was very clean and the room had a nice modern design. The hotel has two swimming pools, one with a slide wich our boys absolutely loved. We also enjoyed the kiddie...

This place is a hidden gem amidst the fancy hotels in the vicinity. Good value for money and rooms are adequate, comfortable and clean if you are not looking for a 5-star experience. No cable tv though but not necessary if one only stays for the night

Stayed 3 nights in Moalboal. Cool relaxed vibe in small resort. Staff super friendly and helpfull. Great dive location and good equipment. All the food served was really good. Great place to stay if you want to dive and explore cebu. Hotel organized our dives and canyoning in Badian.

Roland's condo is a nice place to stay on Mactan Island. It is just a bit overpriced for a converted 1 bedroom with 1 bath. Previously I rented a true 2 bed 2 bath for for same price per day in the same building. It would be nice to include a water dispenser inside the condo. Overall the condo is clean and comfortable.

Everything is really well decorated, efficiently set up and the rooms are excellent. Clean, modern, cozy with very nice bathrooms, easily matching the Quest Hotel or Bayfront Hotel. + full suite of amenities: fridge, water kettle, desk, chair, safe-box, remote controlled modern Hitachi aircon, no less. And the room deco is spotless. If you took photos, you could use ...

Checked in to Best Western and received a pleasant surprise. Was given a free upgrade to The Solea Resort with a sea/pool view. Simply Fabulous. Rooms were great and the staff at Solea were fantastic. F&B were also great. A truly memorable stay. My choice hotel the next time I am Mactan, Cebu.

Although this hotel is quite far from airport or Cebu city, it is well worth a stay. You can find AMAZING SEA VIEW when you eat breakfast, swim in a pool or in your room. The breakfast was simple but the best brekky in my life and also dinner too!. Ian and Virginia who are the best hosts in the areas are very friendly and welcoming. They really looked after me and my ...

We had to wait in a reception for the woman for 30 mins on arrival and there was no aircon. We then got in our apartment and was told the aircon was not working in the bedroom they were supposed to fix at 8 pm so we had to wait in no one turned up till 930 after me chasing them. Then the next day the electric went off I asked for my money back or to be moved we finally...

Watersport is a self-contained resort with diving facility and restaurant. The rooms and restaurant is authentically German and serves as welcome relief from tropical Philippines. The staff is first rate and friendly. The dive master is superb, with technical expertise and kind human character.

The best island resort I have been in Philippines. The drive was pretty far drive from cebu city. A very nice private island resort. Great food and superior service. Large and spacious rooms. Cebu is a dusty dirty place and this resort is sheltered from all that. It's a little osasis of claim.and quite. One thing though, the beach is rocky, if you have booties bring them. They don't have any for kids. Exception food at Ripa and Venture (didn't try the other one) breakfast selection though are disappointing. Was very few people there so perhaps that was why...

As the title indicates, this is a slice of paradise. Calm, relaxed and every need catered for. This is not a party hotel despite the happy hour in the bar, but ideal for leisure, diving and just hanging out. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the resort is very well kept with flowers, palm trees and narrow walk paths with relaxing huts for a sea view relaxing ...

The room fixtures were good but the attention to details was poor! No bottle opener, no can opener, a room for 3 persons with 1 towel, 1 mug for coffee, 2 plates etc., no balcony chairs, 1 saucepan that had burnt remains on the bottom, no knife sharpe enough to cut a lemon ... you get the picture. :( Most of this was put right when I complained but should I have to ...

It’s an excellent place to stay especially if it’s for family. It’s a two story condominium 3 bedrooms two full bath a kitchen and a garage and it’s in a gated community. Very quiet and safe. The only draw back is when you’re out of the community gate because it’s so crowded, the traffic is bad. But once you have your own car it will be ok. The owner is very sweet and ...

most expensive place i booked on my trip turned out to be most disappointing. the room (native room) was very small, toiletpaper and second towel was provided only after asking, staff was kinda pushy trying to sell their food. pool was not clean, beach access was a platform much too high to get to the sea

Very satisfied with our 4-day and 3-night stay in this property. It has 3 spacious bedroom of which 2 has aircon working excellently. Living room & kitchen has a separate aircon too and is well ventilated with terrace in front. The location is very accessible to tourist attractions, public transport, mall, eateries, pharmacy, sari-sari store, etc. Everything you need...

The place is really nice, very spacious and clean. The staff is very attentive and unobtrusive. Naomi is very helpful and even went above and beyond to help my mother in law. Anything we needed that wasn't provided already can be requested. The house is located at the end of the street with view of the sea. Can be noisy during the day because it is right in front of t...

i read negative comments about this place but i choose still book for a room because of their pool which can be access untill 10pm, the unit was equiped with almost everything we need during stay.. refrigerator, cooking utensils, tv, aircon and more.. cold & hot shower is also available.. thankful for the staffs who assisted us

Magdala na lng ...

i booked for a twin bed they should have additional discription of the room accomodoation... the pad is like a capsule... no individual a/c, tables, tv, restrroom, chairs, and the matress is on the floor. not ideal for families, but if you are a solo backpacker and would only stay for a night to catch an early flight from mactan-cebu airport you can stay here but th...

Joy has been fantastic trying to get in touch and ensure that our stay is as seamless as possible. The house is pretty clean and there is a small grill outside that can be utilised. Groceries can be bought from the supermarkets about 15mins away. BE WARNED, the location as advertised on Agoda before booking is incorrect. The actual location of the house is in a Sub...

man i love this place. ok this is not an hotel but a flat. garage for the scooter. the flat is spacious with balcony. the kitchen is nice. the bathroom a little bit small but clean and new. still not try the gym and the pool but are going to very soon hehe come!

The location was good, however the apartment was small and decor was simple and minimal. Super small t.v mounted on the wall. I think if the get a larger .t.v and apply some type of decoration on the the walls it will improve the place greatly. It's ok for a short stay for a few days

This room ranks as one of the best we have ever booked in Cebu! The design and decor is so stunning. Our custodian went above and beyond the call of duty meeting our additional requests. Thanks for that! There is ongoing construction but we were more distracted by the gym and pools. Both facilities exceeded our expectations. There a few street restaurants near the...

Great City to spend time with your vacation, So much history, people are friendly, great food and very affordable.
Cebu City has all the convenience any tourist would like to avail. Very friendly, helpful people. It has a lot of cultural, historical, natural places to visit.
What is unique about Cebu City is the many historical places. However, I was not impress with the unfriendliness of the people.
To visit the tourist areas - its a long drive to say pier 1 to get a ferry to bohol island or a long van ride to water falls or island hopping and traffic is a nightmare if you dont leave the hotel before 6.
If you are a tourist, this is the best place for several water activities. Go to Oslob, Cebu before noon to experience swimming with whale sharks.
lots of things to do especially sinulog season. but, the place is beginning to be like manila....traffic traffic and traffic everywhere
Not a holiday destination unless your hotel has all the facilities you need or you're researching this country of rich and poor contrast.
Steeped in Culture. Harold's Hotel was by far the best Hotel. Food Service Impeccable. TJS Bar and Grill was one of the best places to kick back and Relax.
"Queen city of the South"....this is THE spot for basing yourself for travel around the Visayas....many islands and beaches to visit from here and much better than Manila unless viisiting Philippines for business.
Excellent restaurants and shopping possibilities. My favourite sight seein spot is the Taoist temple in Beverly Hills
Friendly people and honest cabbies. The city is no dirtier than any other Philippine city. There are so many beautiful women.
Modern yet very laid back. Everything is near (beaches, mountains, shopping districts) People are friendly
A nice City with an abundance of Heritage and Spiritual History. But to fully enjoy the area traveller's need to explore outside the city centre and enjoy the outer areas and seaside towns such as Oslob and kasawan Falls.
Cebu City is a fun place for tourists. If you haven't tried it, eat lechon (whole roasted pig with crunchy skin)go to Zubuchon or Rico's.
Traffic jam during day time especially to/from Mactan airport to Cebu city center. Perhaps better to stay in Mactan rather than Cebu city.
Beautiful city. Its clean and the people are very friendly especially the taxi drivers are God fearing people.
Cebu City is totally a compact city. You may have variable interests to come and visit the city because it basically offers a budget or affordable tourist can choose upon.
Excellent to visit directly and not to land in Manila due to poor airport security. Cebu and Davao still a safe and friendly cities
I did not find Cebu to be that great. But that may be from my lack of itinerary. Cebu has a few famous landmarks, such as "Magellan's Cross", Santo Nino Church and Fort San Pedro, but that wasn't enough to merit my stay there.
A LARGE DIVERSE CITY WITH A LOT OF POVERTY in abundance yet still people put ona smile and show they are happy .
Mainly stayed to see the lifestyle and experience atmosphere. There isnt that much to see in the city.
It's a great city that offers city, mountain and beach lifestyles. It also has a rich cultural and religious histories that they were able to preserve despite the rapid urbanization and modern living.
A city which forces you to wake up real early. Else your life is spent crawling through the traffic. Friendly and smiling folks.
airport to ceby downtown, or downtown back to airport, can take white taxi, reasoanble fee without too much bargaining.
Cebu si second largest city in Philippine, but comparing with Manila, is much nicer, much cleaner & less crowded, should stayed here for more few days.
the blackouts were a disaster. the restaurants were so hot, you would lose your appetite. the people are not so familiar with where the cebu city hall was located.
Get a motorcycle with a local and go around the see all the sights. It's much more safe than Jepneys, doesn't make you a target for pickpocketers and hagglers.
It's better to exchange foreign currency at places near Osmena Circle, rather than airport and hotels, considering the rate.
Come and visit phillipines is a good choice for relaxation and filipino are very friendly hospitable and they always wear there smiles.
This is my 2nd trip to Cebu and I will continue to come here because its a place where you can see the old and new merge into 1 dynamic City.
