Pleasant hotel located in a bar zone soi, close to the beach (5 minute walk). We booked a pool view room as we were advised by other reviews that it would be quieter than the standard rooms. It was a clean, spacious room with a large balcony overlooking the pool. Good bathroom. Good air con. Unfortunately for us, there was a party next to the hotel were they were playing very loud Thai karaoke music with a horrendous amount of bass which we could feel pounding through the building. We were informed that there had been complaints and that the police had visited and said the party should end at midnight. Other bars in the area appear to have turned the volume of their music up. We elected to go out in our car and sat by the beach waiting until midnight. When we returned to the hotel the bars were still playing loud music which we could hear in our room. The hotel has a nice swimming pool. Private car park. Breakfast is served at a restaurant at the beach end of the soi. Hotel reception will give you a coupon to use at the restaurant, there is a choice of set menu dishes. You can pay extra for other choices. We were very happy with the food we chose from the set menu.
