Where to stay in Cha Am Beachfront
Cha Am Beachfront hotels & accommodations

We had a great stay. Beds in Thailand are very stiff in general, the bed at Novotel was a little more comfortable than other hotels, the room view was to die for! Great high speed internet (ethernet in the rooms), great pools and fitness center, they also have a free class every day (Yoga, thai boxing, ...). The hotel was just across the street from a seven eleven and ...

This is my first time to stay in The regent Cha Am, due to my flight delayed until 10.30pm. and I rented the car take me sometime, so by driving myself from Bangkok, so take me around 1am only reached the hotel. And is happen also my wife birthday, and before that I did make call to the hotel asked them to prepare a small cake for surprised my wife, due to our late arr...

I was really surprised by this wonderful place, the reception staff were very friendly and charming to talk with, even helping a little to practise my Thai. The room was lovely and clean, with a good bed and clean bathroom. There was veranda to sit on in the evening before strolling down to the beach-front restaurant for a meal. The staff in the restaurant were all very ...

Food quality is not good at all and super expensive (to compare it’s almost 2 times the price more than so Sofitel Hua Hin where the food is excellent). Choice of Cocktail and alcohol is very poor and many items missing. To get 5 stars hotel managing should improve many things about food and beverage department. I give a good rewards to the staff which is so ...

Hotel is located in Cha Am and about 20km to Hua Hin. If you want the sea view book a normal deluxe room as the Jacuzzi and Pool Room are in different buildings and no sea view. Room are big and spacious. Breakfast was just ok. menu changed daily which was good. Food prices were reasonable. Need a car to get around as the hotel is tucked away with no nearby shops.

Cha am is mainly a Thai resort, quiet, great beach, great seafood everywhere and friendly. Great value hotel if you are here during the week. Super large, bright rooms with balcony overlooking the sea about 100 meters away. Good gym, nice swimming pools but much smaller compared to the well-taken photos. Breakfast is very expensive here - many cheaper options are just ...

the hotel is very beautiful with nice decoration. there is a big swimming pool in the middle of resort. my family deeply enjoy our leisure time by swimming together, especially for my kids. the family room is so grate and convenient. there contain two separate rooms inside with one living room and small dining table. the resort also located nearby the beach and the fam...

this was my 2nd night at cher, the staff treated us very kind with nice service minded. first we planned to move to other hotels in cha-am area, but finally there's no place to worth staying as much as this hotel. the bed is totally comfort and cozy. we do love the pool area where we see sunset beach together too!!

We stayed here again as we enjoyed our previous stay. We were not disappointed. Now we were with 6 and the hotel took care of giving us rooms on the same level, without any specific request by us. They excused that the by us requested room was not available as it was already occupied, so they really read your requests in advance. Traffic towards Cha Am was good: just t...

Have stayed at the Cha Am Long Beach nearby(good) and the Methalavay - next Door(Excellent) and we felt the Golden Beach is in the middle - rating it as very good. The beautiful Cha Am Beach is 200 metres away but it is good to hire a motor bike and get round the Cha Am area(you can park the buke underground no bothers)There are several great restaurants and bars on yo...

We chose this hotel as it seemed to offer modern, clean accommodation at a very reasonable rate and was an easy drive from Bangkok for a long weekend. It proved to be exactly this. The rooms are set out in 2 blocks, which although close together as is often the case in Cha am or Hua Hin, were screened from each other with lots of greenery. Our room had a seated balcony...

long time (10 years) staying at least annually in cha-am. first time at the tara mantra resort. booked 2 rooms in b section which were above expectation for the price in chaam. in comparison with similar resorts on cha-am beach the actual rooms were better maintained, bigger, better cable options, free wi-fi that actually works in the room and with beach views. another...

It was a lovely resort in a quiet district. It is literally a stone throw away from the beach. The room and bath was kept in good condition and my family enjoyed the stay here the most. We were able to relax by the pool while enjoying beach view and breeze. There were excellent facilities like the gym facilities which included table tennis. They even provided a free sh...

great stay at hotel. Located on the beach, in the middle of the Cha Am strip. Staff super friendly, cool childrens pool/play area, has nice rooftop pool and a pool in the middle of hotel with direct access rooms. Sauna and small fitness center brand new, has a lot to offer family with children, or a couple. Really thought out well and great cost. Will absolutely stay a...

We stayed on Cha Am in 2 hotels including this one. The other one was 2-times more expensive and was 4-stars, but, frankly, I'd stay at I Calm. They really should be a 4 stars hotel (and I don't know why they are not). Very polite and helpful staff, nice clear rooms, good swimming pool, not very high prices. A very lovely place in Cha Am. We would definitely stay the...

Our 1st time to stay and we loved it very much! All staffs are polite and helpful. Our family room is new and located in a separate building which is 1 mins walk to lobby. The facilities are well maintained, especially the pool and slides. Dont miss the bft which is in high quality and variety of choice. The location is quiet and the beachfront scene is much better tha...

This resort is super beautiful and unique, I think it is the best resort in Cha Am, even Hua Hin. Room has pretty furniture ans in front of this is swimming pool. Staff is always smile when they see me and help me everytime I need them. Breakfast is wonderful and delicious. I cant stop to loving Vann. On scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this 11. Very love!

Long Beach, in my opinion, is the best hotel in the $50 range in Cha Am. The most impressive aspect is what you DON'T see: that on the balcony you do NOT see the (dreadful) condenser for the air conditioning pumping out hot air at you -- a most rare and unusual sight. Ask for a room facing the north. You will get an unobstructed view. (Now, when you deal with the...

We stayed in Pool Access room, it was really relax for the first night but after that there are too many kids scream and shouting all the time. Some kids even come to our balcony and jumping to the pool. This place was nice but they should manage room for customer with the kids together not mixed with couple stay.

The hotel is located on the northern part of Cha-Am beach area. A nice new quiet and peaceful place to stay for chilaxing. The price was resonable. Service was excellent. The swimming pool was great. Breakfast was good enough. Just don't expect for complimentary tea & coffee facilities and some small towels in the barthroom. Over all, this hotel is worth t...

I stayed at the Cera for 5 nights before moving to Cha am Beach, but I moved back to the Cera again after two nights as this place was really good. Its was a bit quite here as the hotel is located about 9 or 10 kilometres from the main part of Cha-am, in what little more than a village. That said, this place has a lot going for it, it's right on the beach, there is a g...

We had a good stay, the pool is very large but has almost no shade. Wi fi was good however if not used for a short time logged you out,the first couple of times are OK and then it starts to be a pain.Moved to another hotel in Cha am and had no such issues.TV in our room worked well but was old style box set .Gym was OK but not air conditioned so working out in 32degrees...

My first time in Cha-Am. I arrive the hotel almost 5 hrs before the check-in time, but I was welcome to move in at once. The room was in 3rd floor, and I found everything I needed and expected. Big, comfortable bed, safe, fridge, waterheater and both free water, tea, and coffe. Plenty hot water on the bathroom. No complains, but... Something a little strange, the sink ...

We had a great time at Raya Resort. It is located at the quiet part of Cha-am. Raya Resort has a great garden and is located at the beach. You get free bicycles to explore this part of Cha-am. At the beach Raya Resort has chairs and umbrellas free to use and it is easy to order drinks and food. Staff is very friendly and they arrange everything for you. Although hiring...

Falling in love to space of place, simply and cozy:). their location is quite peaceful but facilities surrounding that is not far for walking distance. Inside room is very nice perception and little wow space for shower area, overall to space is comfort and rest for eye touching. Breakfast is hug! yummy all and fullfill body energy. The place is peaceful, pr...

The hotel has only 4 rooms, perfect for couple who look for quiet and peaceful stay. Only a few mins walk away from the beach, or better yet, hotel provides bicycles for free. You can also access to the pool 24 hours. If you're lucky and the other 3 rooms have not rented out, you will have the pool all to yourself! The staffs are super friendly there. Note that the hot...

Not for a long stay - only 2 coat hangers in small wardrobe, no drawers of any size, no toilet brush,or place in shower for soap, shampoo etc. TV has 40 channels - none in English language -mostly Indian/local.No space for suitcases, very small bar fridge, no ice. No table or chairs in room - superior room has two on balcony. Not a good taxi service in Cha-am, so best...
Cheap places to stay in Cha Am Beachfront

I never stay in dorm rooms and stay in cha-am a lot but sometimes wanna spend less on accom so tried here. The beds and nice and comfy with nice blanket, they’re really private for a dorm bed, not a lot of room if you have lots of luggage, bathroom is great even has nice soaps haha Breakfast is fine and can cook eggs, toast cereals etc , Also there is a swimming pool ...

The facility was not prepared for our arrival; and our room was not ready for us. They promptly made up for it by upgrading us to a larger room. The staff was very attentive to our needs. The facility is just down a side Soi from a wonderful stretch of Cha Am beach. Good places to eat within easy walking distance.

This hotel is a basic, well situated place, Great value for the price What makes this place stand out is the lady manager, she was so helpful that it was well beyond her duty. She is a great asset and I wish to thank her for all the help and assistance she gave. Basic hotel great staff !!!!!

Cheap price, Friendly Staff, near van station, near rent a bike place. Location is great enough although in the night is a little quiet. A lot of bar nearby. additional: if you want to go to Pattaya you can buy ticket in advance at www.belltravelservice.com, it's only around 15 US$, and the bus is very comfortable (have toilet inside the bus, no stop) You can rent a...

As accommodation, The hotel is good value for money and close to the beach. But I can't stress enough how unpleasant Cha am is becoming. Having just arrived in Bangkok we wanted to get to the coast quickly, but avoid anywhere with a seedy reputation like Hua Hin or Pattya. Sadly, it looks like Cha am is going the same way. I would not advise this town is suitable for b...

We stayed at Chaam Guesthouse for 3 nights, and could easily stay here again. - great beds - nice hot water in the shower - the rooms without windows face away from the street. - friendly host - not to far away from the beach - easy to find food for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the neighborhood - wifi work well, did not test the tv - aircon work well too

This place is quite new and has lovely modern dorms with fabulous bathrooms. I stayed 3 days and was the only guest in the dorm so had it all to myself including the balcony which has terrific views right over the ocean. There is really nothing to do in Cha Am and the beach is average but there are very few western tourists and it's nice to each the Thai weekenders hav...

We stayed at the Blue Lagoon for a week in February. Once you get your head around the fact that you are paying £10 per night for a large room with air conditioning in a great location and are realistic not expecting the Hilton Hotel you will fall in love with this place. This is a lovely place to stay, it reflects Cha am being laid back to the point of sleep but still...

This place is the best deal in Cha am Beach it's not the cheapest but it's the best Moneysworth that is comfortable staff is friendly I just don't understand why I have to pay 500 baht key deposit when I have to leave my key at the front desk anyway

This is an old hotel which is in need of renovation but for about $20 night on the beach with 2 pools and a basic breakfast for 2 no complaints. Its way out of Cha-Am so transport is needed if you want to go in to town. Nothing within walking distance.

Small place but rooms recently updated....friendly staff.....close to beach.....off beach parking.....steep Thai type stairs - we were on 4th floor.....places to eat nearby.....we'd stay again....a little off the beach just enough to avoid big holiday traffic crush.....

the lady recep is friendly and keep smiling..just within 1 min walking distance to the Cha-Am bikini beach run 2019 flag off point..there is a fridge and complimentary 2 bottled water provided in the room...However, there's only soap is provided in the bath room...Don't have any toothbrush, shampoo, hairdyer... not recommended for older people as the guesthouse is equi...

We always stay here when we are in Cha Am. It has everything we need. Secure parking, brilliant staff attitude. Very Clean. pool is lovely. Easy walking to Beach and local amenities. This is a very good all round resort. It is rated as 3 stars but it equals all the 4 and 5 stars i have stayed in around Cha am.

I went there on the long weekend and all Thai people go to Cha-am for vacation. All the hotel around the area were fully booked, so it left me not much choice. And may be because of half of Thai people in the country are on vacation here so the use of electricity is overloaded. It was black out on 11 pm until 3 am so that I can not sleep almost all night. I knew it wa...

This is a nice little hotel across from the beach about 60 meters away.....dining downstairs with what seems to be a friendly crowd - one night seems to be a dart league.....mostly older folks....around the corner Cha Am Pizza - one of the best I've tasted in Thailand even the Thai part of the family enjoyed some (unsual) great crust.....beach chairs available as well ...

Great staff, the owner and also everyone else. Great rooms, clean and convenient. Great service around the day. Also some extras: the a/c is not noisy, just works very well there are no animals in the rooms, also not the pervasive ants the use of a bicycle is easy and free of costs I will stay there again when I come back to Cha-am!

I book this hotel because it is cheap compare to other hotel. It is a long weekend and most hotels are book full or have increase their rates. It is hard to find, I have to circle a few times before I can find it. The hotel name is in Thai so that made it even more difficult. It is a budget hotel but rooms are clean and it is near to the beach. Good for one or two nigh...

I really liked the Sea Breeze Guesthouse, the rooms are clean and the one I stayed in had a view of the sea and beach, which was brilliant to watch the sunrise. In fact, the Sea Breeze is right on the sea front, simply get up in the morning, eat breakfast and step out onto the beach in the morning. The location is very quiet and is really in a small village between Cha...

The internet does not work when we arrived. We went to join Cha-am Triathlon at Naresuan Military camp, and the location of the hotel is quite good. The hotel is clean and nice to stay. Staff are helpful. There is a famous restaurant nearby that you can even walk to.

We stayed here for 1 week in July. The hotel location is perfect. 30 seconds to the beach, 7 eleven on corner and lots of restaurants nearby. Lots of street food stalls, especially in the evening. Good atmosphere in this area even in low season. The balcony is very spacious and right on top of the soi/street. The staff are genuinely very friendly. We have stayed in...

This is a condominium complex and not a hotel. There is a portion that is used as a hotel, but. This condo is a condo of a private owner. To be clear. The condo is clean, well organized and furnished. It is small in comparison to well-appointed hotel rooms. There is security, nice staff (some). The complex is located on the Cha-am Beach road and has a variety of pools....

Perfect for a group visit. 50 metres to the beachfront (Cha-Am beachfront) The condo has high privacy and still quiet even on weekends. The room is clean and there is a large area of living room for everybody to hang out. The kitchen is big enough to cook a meal in the room. The staff is helpful. p.s.The car is needed as it's quite far from Hua Hin City center (30 mi...

All we needed. Spacious etc. small recommendations, more furnitures for the fantastic balcony and free internet. Would go again if in that area. Not much is close by but this was not a problem for us. The building seems a bit empty but it might have been due to weekdays.

Stayed here for 5 days. 2 adults and 2 children. It is the perfect place to stay if you have your own car. Nothing is missing and the place is new And clean. The host is very helpful and honest. I will definetly stay here again if in the area. The only thing to consider is that it is probably advisavle to have your own means of trabsportation, as it is not in the very ...

Although 40 sqm 1 bed 1 bath, the room comfortably fits our family of four. Everything is excellent here. Also all facility and furniture is brand new. I am very happy. The apartment is truly sea view from both living room and bedroom, not like some apartments that is only nice from the picture but turned out disappointing and no sea view. The building is very new and luxurious. There are tons of activities. We did enjoy the bowling, pool tables and huge swimming pool. We definitely come back again.
