We went during the new lockdown period. Some rooms were open but it felt crowded. However, the atmosphere was not chaotic, quiet, and the surrounding air was good. There are green trees and the building is designed to fit the atmosphere, very good. Saturday breakfast buffet, delicious food, I like Pad Mee Korat. The room is very spacious, overlooking the pool and mountains. Very memorable, if possible, will definitely come back to stay again.

Recommended by a friend who gave fantastic reviews. However, she stayed here pre-Covid and I think the hotel needs lots of upgrading. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. View was great, cleanliness good, hotel staff were prompt. However, 1. Wifi connection was constantly disrupted. We had to use our roaming data most of the time. Came with young kids and elderly parents who needed data to surf net. Hotel didn’t have much other facilities or entertainment for us. So it’s really disappointing. Though the staff/engineers tried to come to resolve a couple of times, the network is lost right after they took a long time to fix. 2. Toilet doors were on the verge of falling off! Dangerous for old n young. Called them n they came to fix a stopper to hold it temporarily 3. Common Toilet flush wasn’t working well. Had to manually flush using water from tap 4. Pillows were way too soft. Asked for extra to prop up tp prevent neck ache 5. Telephone in living room to call Recep was spoilt, crackling sounds. Informed hotel n used phone in bedroom instead to communicate with them 6. We had 5 adults and one of them was alright with sleeping in the sofa bed as the unit is relatively big. However, hotel staff insisted that we pay extra 3600baht to add an extra bed, which was totally getting in the way, blocking our access to balcony. We paid anyway but was deeply disappointed by the dates hardwares in the hotel., totally not worth the price after adding the extra 3600baht. Upon check out staff said will check if they can refund to me due to me disappointing stay but have not heard from them till date.. 7. Pool had tiles coming off, uneven flooring, not safe for children to use. Disappointing. 8. Location is deep inside about 3min drive by our private transport. So really nothing else to do it u don’t drive out as facilities are dated.. Overall nice service by staff as they were prompt but quite a disappointing experience for us.. I think there are other better and newer hotels outs

The Botanica Khao Yai Resort is very beautiful in a great location. The views are stunning and it is clean and functional. The restaurant and floor staff are fantastic, along with the food. The managers are in need of a lot of additional training. However, the place is slightly run down after the covid pandemic. It does need some money spent on it and a bit of basic work done. There is also a lot of pigeon feces around which would be a quick easy clean up. The bath on the balcony, which was one of the main reason we booked this, did not have enough hot water to fill up, so, this was a bit pointless! However, the few details of the decrepit pool, the pigeon feces, the slightly run down look of the place and the bath, was all easy to get over, and, understandable. The problem for us came when after a full day out, we went back to our room, and found to our dismay that our food service plates had not been taken and the room had not been made up. We wouldn't have minded if we hadn't had asked for this service by leaving the tag to make up our room on the door. After speaking with the duty manager, we were basically told we were lying and he sent up the new trainee receptionist to deal with the situation, who, on her phone had a picture of a door handle with the tag saying please do not disturb! The trainee was as helpful as she could be and did her best, but the duty manager was appalling and the whole experience ruined our stay. Because of this we wouldn't be able to recommend this hotel. Basic politeness and people skills in the hospitality industry are the most important things to have, especially when the hotel is supposed to be of a higher quality. It was a real shame it ruined a wonderful time for us in Khao Yai.

Firstly I want to say, we got the pleasure and peaceful mind from the hotel staff. Very Nice view and clean inside our room. But the lobby and walkway are a little bit weak for cleaning. And then, the hotel location is in the city center and very easy to go other places. I think the weather and hotel is very match for me. When we having the breakfast, we got the great time and very delicious. Anyway, I want to suggest for the couple should choose. Just only honest review as my opinion.
